Creative Multimedia wins “Excellent Performance Award for Blood Donation and Motivation”

In tribute to the students, staff and well-wishers who turned up in large numbers to participate in the blood donation camps organized by Creative Multimedia, this famed Digital Media Education Academy was bestowed with the “Excellent Performance Award for Blood Donation and Motivation”.

On behalf of his students and staff,Rajasekhar Buggaveeti, CEO of Creative Multimedia Group accepted the award from the Honourable Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states in the presence of The President of AP Red Cross Society. The awards included a memento and a cup.

Thanking his students for their special service to humanity and their invaluable role in saving lives,Rajasekhar Buggaveeti said that their act of generosity will inspire many more people to come forward and contribute to such noble causes. In continuation to its unwavering commitment to its corporate social responsibility, Creative Multimedia is all set to conduct another Blood Donation Camp shortly at its global-standard campus.

The “Brands Academy Education Excellence Awards 2012” saw ‘CMS’ walk away with the prized trophy of the “BEST DIGITAL MEDIA ACADEMY IN INDIA – 2012”. This recognition bestowed on ‘CMS’ by “Big Brands Research”, New Delhi, a leading ‘market research and brand management’ organization is considered by many to be the final word on the subject.

At a star-studded awards ceremony, in Gurgaon, New Delhi, chief guest, Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Honorable Member of Parliament gave away the award to RajaSekhar Buggaveeti, the MD & CEO of the ‘Creative Multimedia’ group. It is a matter of immense pride for the people of ‘Andhra Pradesh’ that this ‘Hyderabad’ based organization has emerged as the best in its field, in the entire country.

‘Creative Multimedia Services’ is the ‘Largest Digital Media Academy’ in the country. However, size alone does not matter. The quality of education is the key factor that differentiates one ‘Academy’ from the other. Hence, this acknowledgement by a premier ranking body makes us a behemoth in the field of ‘Digital Media Education’.

Speaking on the occasion, RajaSekhar Buggaveeti said he was delighted with the honor. He sincerely thanked the students, their parents; faculty and staff of his Academy. “But for their efforts, this award would not have been possible today. This award entrusts us with a new responsibility in terms of living up to standards. Expectations would obviously increase and we would strive to live up to them.”

Pixellence Awards-2012: an event that showed why Creative Multimedia is India’s most happening Digital Media Academy

celebrated the 2012 edition of Pixellence Awards, an annual extravaganza aimed at recognizing and honoring shining Digital Media talent, at Hyderabad on Thursday, the 26th of January, 2012 from 4. p.m. to 8 p.m. amidst scores of students, parents and staff.

Pixellence Awards-2012 commenced at 4 p.m. with the customary address and presentation (The flagship of the Creative Multimedia Group-India’s only Digital Media Academy backed by full-service Animation and VFX studios) by the CEO, RajaSekhar Buggaveeti.

The prestigious Pixellence Awards which are synonymous with Digital Media Excellence were presented to 31 talented students of Creative Multimedia in various categories of Animation, VFX, Web and Graphics by the CEO, amidst thunderous applause.

Pixellence was at its enthralling best as students, staff and even the CEO of Creative Multimedia passionately took to the stage with scintillating performances to make it a truly memorable day. A troupe of tiny tots dressed in silky whites appeared magically on stage like angels and stole the show with a heart-touching song-dance performance.

Post the awards distribution ceremony, RajaSekhar Buggaveeti thanked all the students, volunteers, performers and staff for gracing the celebrations and making it a grand success.

Best Film Award for Creative Multimedia’s ‘Feel the Punch’ at Bit Film-12 Digital Film Festival – Germany

‘Feel the Punch’, an Animation short film crafted by students of Creative Multimedia was declared winner of the ‘Best Film Award’ in the 3D Space (Animation) Awards Category of the Bit Film-12 Digital Film Festival on 25 November, 2011.

An extremely funny short film, ‘Feel the Punch’ was conceived and animated by students of Creative Multimedia as part of their industry-oriented Animation training program. The Academy offers revolutionary Animation training and has been setting the standards in Digital Media Education ever since inception in 1998.

Students of the Academy have been dominating the awards circuit and have brought home 37 prestigious awards so far at various national and international film festivals: the latest being ‘Feel the Punch’.

By far the most popular film in its category in India, ‘Feel the Punch’ is a rage on Youtube with its video having registered over 8.5 clicks (8,54,947 as on Nov 26, 2011). No other film in this category has been able to even come close to this extreme adulation on Youtube. What’s more, Creative Multimedia has won seven coveted awards so far: another impressive and unrivalled achievement. Creative Multimedia students walked away with theBest 3D Animation Short Film Award’ in the ‘Student Category’ of the ASIFA India Awards of Excellence -2011 for their film ‘Twisted’ which was declared the winner at the awards night held on the evening of Sunday the 6th of November, 2011 at Mumbai.

The award marks the film’s debut at the awards circuit. ‘Twisted’ features a hilarious episode between a master and his pet. The film enjoyed a grand launch by three time national award winner and VFX Supervisor of the iconic Rajnikanth film ‘Robo’, Mr. Srinivas Mohan during Creative Multimedia’s 13th Anniversary Celebrations.

Creative Multimedia students once again demonstrated their class at the awards circuit by capturing two nominations in the Student Category of ASIFA’s  IAD-2011 Awards of Excellence for their 3D Animation Short Films ‘Twisted’ and ‘Cecelia – The Balcony Girl’. The winners will be declared at a sparkling function to be held at Mumbai on November 6, 2011.

Out of a total of 12 nominations in the Student Category, Creative Multimedia captured two nominations, the highest by any Academy at these Awards.

Both films are comic thrillers with distinct themes. The films were crafted by Creative Multimedia studetns as part of the internship program at DNA Inc. (Dilsukhnagar Animation Incubation), the talent transformation initiative of the Academy which aims to groom studio-ready CG Artists.

It is a matter of great pride for all of us at Dilsukhnagar Arena that the enchanting 3D character ‘Mona’ in our immensely popular and successful Student Short Film ‘Feel the punch’ was featured prominently as a poster at the inaugural of the Bitfilm-12 festival in Germany. Amidst a starry array of entries from across the world, it is indeed a great honour and a tribute to our training standards that our film/character was chosen for the official poster at the launch venue. It may be recalled that ‘Feel the punch’ has already won a coveted nomination at this prestigious international film festival along with our other student short film ‘Hugo Vs Lino’.

Bitfilm’s opening event took place in Hamburg, Germany’s media capital and Bitfilm’s hometown on Monday, the 17th of October, 2011. Ms. M. Subashini, Consule General of India in Hamburg lit the “lamp of the festival” to commence the celebrations. The opening program featured highlights from the three competitions-RajaSekhar Buggaveeti

Cecelia – The Balcony Girl, a 3D Animation short film by DNA Inc. interns won the 2nd prize in the ‘Student Film Category’ (Best Animation Short).

‘Cecelia – The Balcony Girl’, a 3D Animation short film by DNA Inc. interns won the 2nd prize in the ‘Student Film Category’ (Best Animation Short) at the 4th India International Cinema Today Short Film Awards (CTSF) held at Chennai, Tamilnadu, India from 29 to 31, July, 2011.

This is the 11th in a string of coveted awards for the numerous 3D Animation short films crafted by interns of DNA Inc. (The path-breaking CG internship program from Creative Multimedia India’s Largest Digital Media Academy)

The film is already a rage on You Tube with its video registering a staggering 4.38 clicks till date. ‘Cecelia – The Balcony Girl’ is all about a youngster’s attempts to impress a beautiful girl next door, an act that leads to some seriously funny moments.

Creative Multimedia Academy, India’s Largest Digital Media Academy celebrated its 13th Anniversary at Hyderabad on Sunday, the 17th of July, 2011.

Mr. Srinivas Mohan, VFX Expert of ‘Indian Artists’ and three-time national award winner graced the event as the Chief Guest while Mr. Naveen Medaram, VFX expert from UK and a highly successful alumnus of Creative Multimedia Arena along with Mr. Basireddy, CEO of ‘Digi Quest Studios’ attended the extravaganza as Guests of Honour.

The celebrations witnessed the launch of the 3D Animation Short Film ‘Twisted’ crafted by Animation interns of DNA Inc. 

A string of entertainment programs added ample fun to the day while in-depth presentations on the ‘behind-the-scenes’ of the film ‘Robo’ and a few Hollywood films by Mr. Srinivas and Mr. Naveen proved truly enriching.
